The Lung Association is a vital team that makes a difference in the lives of Islanders. Asthma education, information on living with chronic lung disease, helping people quit smoking, and developing clean air programs are only some of the services of the PEI Lung Association.

Our volunteers are the lifeblood of our organization. It is because of our community-based volunteers that we are able to reach so many Islanders.

Our volunteers teach school children about the dangers of smoking, help to develop educational information about living with lung disease, assist in our fundraising campaigns, perform a variety of office tasks, and so much more.

Some of the benefits of being a volunteer at the PEI Lung Association include: updating your job skills for your resume, gaining valuable volunteer experience, meeting new people, contributing to your community, increasing your sense of self-worth, a satisfaction for a job well done, working in a smoke-free and scent-free environment, and having fun!

Who is the ideal volunteer? If you have a little time to spare to help out a worthy cause, and if you enjoy making lasting friendships, YOU are the ideal volunteer.

If you would like to become a volunteer, or if you would like some more information, please feel free to contact us.
